Terms & Conditions

Any order from a customer for stationery from Lily & Lottie Stationery is deemed to constitute full acceptance and understanding of the following terms and conditions.

Pricing

We reserve the right to update details or prices on our website at any time without prior notice, including our terms and conditions.  Any price increase will not affect confirmed orders. Quotations for bespoke designs or products are valid for 30 days from the date of quotation.

Products

Lily & Lottie Stationery cannot accept the responsibility for variations in size, colour or texture of card or other materials. Although very effort is made to make sure all items are made to highest quality, due to the majority of our products being handmade, no two products will be exactly the same and therefore may differ slightly from card to card.

All products are finished to a high standard but due to their delicate accessories, they should be handled with care by the customer.

If a customer places separate orders for stationery, Lily & Lottie cannot guarantee that colours will match those of the first order. In very cases there may be changes in batches and manufacturers and our suppliers will no longer be able to offer the original product. Lily & Lottie will advise if this does happen and will suggest a close colour match to suit.

All designs on this website are copyright of Lily & Lottie Stationery. It is not permitted to copy, publish or reproduce any designs, text, images, and products under any circumstances. This also applies to samples ordered.

The customer is responsible for ensuring they have permission to use any material you ask us to include on any wedding stationery (i.e. – readings and hymns). We cannot be held responsible for any breach of a third party’s copyright.

Wording / Proofs

Content and wording for all stationery items must be provided electronically either via our online order form or by electronic communication (email or facebook message).

It is the customer’s responsibility to thoroughly check and proof read all of their stationery proofs and advise Lily & Lottie Stationery of any amendments required.

The customer must confirm the proofs are correct and confirm this in writing, electronic confirmation is acceptable.

Once the electronic proofs have been approved by the customer, Lily & Lottie Stationery are not responsible for any errors discovered afterwards on the approved stationery proofs. The customer will be liable for any reprinting costs should reprinting be required and the customer should be aware that any instances of reprinting will also incur a delay to the originally stated delivery timeframe.

Should the customer notify Lily & Lottie Stationery of errors after assembly of the stationery has commenced, following customer approval of the proofs, the customer will be charged the entire unit cost of any stationery already created.

Production of stationery will not commence until the proofs are approved by the customer.  Any changes requested by the customer after production has commenced will be charged to cover the cost of the items already made.

Failing to confirm the proofs within our timescales could mean a delay in your order being sent.

Delivery

Delivery costs will be charged on size and weight and added to your final invoice. All orders will be sent via recorded delivery or via a courier service.  A signature will be required to confirm receipt of delivery, please ensure that someone is available to do this. Lily & Lottie Stationery advise that it may be advantageous to use a work address as your shipping address to ensure that your order can be delivered by the courier.

Please allow a minimum of 3 weeks for delivery of a sample.

Full orders require a minimum of 6 weeks for delivery. This is 6 weeks from the date of the full balance being paid and the electronic proofs being approved. The lead time may vary depending upon the size of the order as larger orders may result in a longer lead time.

It is the customer’s responsibility to inform Lily & Lottie Stationery if a non-standard delivery timescale is required. All orders received will be deemed to be standard delivery of 6 weeks from the date of the full balance being paid and the electronic proofs being approved if not stated in writing and/or on the electronic order form. Please see below for non-standard delivery terms;-

Deliveries required in less than 6 weeks will be subject to a ‘rush charge’ which could result in an additional charge of up to a maximum of 40% of the affected order value, the charge will be based on the timeframe in which delivery is required. The charge is entirely at the discretion of Lily & Lottie Stationery and will be calculated based on the delivery timescale required, current order capacity and costs associated with completing an expedited order. Should a secondary order be placed, in addition to the initial order requirement, this will be treated as a new order and, if required prior to the standard delivery terms, will be subject to the aforementioned ‘rush charge’ and be bound by the same terms and conditions as stated above.

Lily & Lottie reserve the right to refuse orders if we do not have adequate availability to fulfil orders with a short lead time. In such instances, if no works have commenced, a full refund of any deposit may be given to the customer if the suggested delivery date is not acceptable. If any works at all have commenced, the deposit is non-refundable.

Whilst each product we carefully make is tested and checked prior to packaging and despatch, on very rare occasions, embellishments may become loose in transit. In such instances, please advise Lily & Lottie Stationery within 3 days of receipt of the order. In minor cases, we may be able to advise on how the customer may reattach the embellishment. If a large number of the products are affected, Lily & Lottie Stationery may request a photograph of the damage to ascertain cause and any decision reached will be final. Lily & Lottie Stationery may request the return of all of the delivered goods, in such cases Lily & Lottie Stationery will pay for, and arrange for the goods to be returned by the customer by way of courier collection. Any returned goods must be securely packaged in the original packaging. Any goods that are returned to Lily & Lottie Stationery will be thoroughly inspected and repaired. The repaired goods will then be despatched to the customer within 7 working days of receipt. Lily & Lottie Stationery accept no liability for goods that are found to be damaged upon receipt by third parties.

Ordering / Payment / Cancellation

Payment for samples must be made in full, once payment has been received work will commence on your sample, samples will only contain sample wording and fonts, this cannot be tailored to individuals.

An order will only be confirmed once a £30 deposit has been paid. The deposit is non-refundable.  The deposit is required before work will begin on any stationery proofs.

Lily & Lottie Stationery recommend making the deposit payment as soon as possible to secure the order at your preferred time, at this point Lily & Lottie Stationery will liaise with the customer to agree a timescale for proofs, final payment, payment method and delivery of order.

The remaining balance becomes payable once the final electronic proof has been approved by the customer, upon receipt of approval, Lily & Lottie will request the remaining balance and a receipt will be provided upon request.

The remaining balance is required before work will begin on any stationery. Once the balance has been paid in full, work will commence on your order.

Any discounts or promotions will be applied to the final payment. Discounts do not apply to postage and packing costs unless specifically stated.

Orders can be cancelled as long as final proofs have not been approved and production has not commenced.  The deposit payment is non-refundable.

A delay in making a payment at any stage, providing required information or approval of proofs may result in delayed receipt of your order, Lily & Lottie Stationery do not accept liability for delays caused by late or non-payment.

All items remain the property of Lily & Lottie Stationery until paid for in full.

Please note that due to each product being handmade to order we do not offer a refund on unwanted products.

Health & Safety

Please be aware that due to some small parts on our products, they are not suitable for young children.

Any stationery designed with children in mind, will only include embellishments suitable for the age range intended. If a design is selected that contains small parts which may pose a danger to children, it is the customers responsibility to determine suitability. Lily & Lottie Stationery accept no responsibility for any harm or injury caused.
